Quality Assurance
In Denmark we have had a BVQI accredited HACCP certification since 2003 and are ISO22000:2005 approved. We are licensed to produce seafood – DK 4017
Our UK site has been ISO accredited since 1995, currently holding ISO9001: 2008. The UK site has also been accredited against the BRC Global Foods Safety Standard since 2005. The current certification level held is BRC A Grade, Version 5. Preston is also licenced for manufacturing of meat products - PN015.
Quality Control
It is the responsibility of our Quality departments in the UK and Denmark to ensure that all raw materials received meets our agreed specification, that freeze drying procedures are followed and that there is a controlled release of any freeze dried product.
On site we have our own laboratories for quality testing and which carry out in-house chemical, physical and sensory testing. The microbiological analysis on our freeze dried products is carried out by accredited external laboratories.
Certificates of Conformance or Certificates of Analysis can accompany deliveries, and specifications are available for all freeze dried ingredients.
Food Accreditation
We are keen to ensure our ingredients and finished products are compliable with as many food standards and accreditations as possible making them accessible for all. Many of our meat and fruit products have full Halal and Kosher accreditation. Please see our product lists for further information.
