Quality & Development

Quality Assurance

QAIn Denmark we have had a BVQI accredited HACCP certification since 2003. Our UK site has been ISO accredited since 1995, achieving ISO9001: 2000 in 2000. The UK site has also been accredited against the BRC Global Foods Safety Standard since 2005.

As our manufacturing sites work more closely together in the future we plan to operate our business under a single Quality Management system.

Quality Control

We have our own laboratories for quality testing and carryout in house chemical, physical, and sensory testing. Microbiological analyses are carried out by accredited external laboratories.

Certificates of Conformance or Certificates of Analysis can accompany deliveries, and specifications are available for all freeze dried ingredients.

Development

QCWe have pilot scale research drying facilities where we are able to investigate the feasibility of freeze drying customers' materials. After initial feasibility studies, we are then able to optimise freeze drying cycles in order to deliver the highest quality at the most economical price. We also have development kitchens where we are able to test potential applications and develop our range of freeze dried meals.

We will be happy to assist you in developing new products from concept to full-scale manufacturing.
