Packaging
There are numerous packaging options dependant on customer volume requirement or usage/application. We can work to fill products into your packaging format; however our current packaging formats are as follows:
- Bulk Cartons
For the industrial market we pack in bulk quantities varying from 2kg to 25kg. The product is packed into sealed foil bags and nitrogen flushed where necessary. The foil bag is packed into a further cardboard outer for added protection and ease of storage.
- Tins
Our tins are produced with an easy peel metal sealing thus avoiding the need for tin opening apparatus. They also feature a plastic lid which can be used after opening to keep reseal the tin keeping the contents stable for up to 3 weeks. This feature compliments the fact our free flowing freeze dried products are portion friendly and eliminate waste.
- Tubs
We have the flexibility to pack into catering tubs. Prices and sizes available upon request.
- Pouches
Our existing meals and fruits are packed into light retardant foil sealed pouches. These pouches maintain the products in perfect condition for up to 5 years.
Our specially designed meal pouches offer numerous additional features and benefits:
o Boiling water can be added directly to the contents in the pouch without fear of weakening the pouch structure.
o Our built in zip lock can be closed after adding water to create the perfect “Cooking” environment.
o Free standing design is ideal for retail display and enables the consumer to successfully prepare the perfect meal even under the most challenging of conditions.
o The meal can be eaten directly from the pouch.
o The pouch can be resealed.
