It all began over 50 years ago.

European Freeze Dry was established in 1964 with the simple goal of providing nutritious and flavour-filled freeze dried foods.

Our hard work and in-depth knowledge of freeze drying processes and technology quickly propelled us to the position of market leaders.

Due to growing demand, we quickly expanded and began to offer specialist services to clients in the food industry.
Alongside the provision of high-quality freeze dried ingredients, we started to offer services such as commission drying and manufacturing of packaged products.

Since then we have launched 3 of our own food brands that are highly successful in the marketplace. This means we are well placed to offer our expertise to clients that want to create new packaged product brands. We help them at every step, from developing the initial concept all the way through to product launch.

From humble beginnings, European Freeze Dry have continued to grow and innovate. We now offer many additional services such as modified atmosphere packing, optical sorting, blending, milling, sieving and oil coating.
